Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

I voted for Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. It was my favorite on the list hands down. It’s actually my favorite book in the world hands down. I have been in love with the Twilight series for a few years now and I’ve read the whole series probably about 6 times, and Breaking Dawn is the best out of all of them. It’s got vampires (gotta love them), romance (gotta love Edward), and awesome action. Every time I read it I hang on the edge of my seat and can’t put it down, even though I know what’s going to happen. Breaking Dawn should definitely make it onto the Teens’ Top 10 List.

Breaking Dawn & Elsewhere

syndetics-lcsyndetics-lc

I voted for Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer for the Teens’ Top Ten List.  I think it has elements of all different types of books, so there is something in it for everyone to enjoy. There is action and suspense for people who enjoy those types of books, there is a science fiction element, and there is also romance. Breaking Dawn was an excellent book and I thought it was a great way to finish up the Twilight series. Another book that I think should have been nominated is Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin. This book had a very unique concept and because of that it really kept me interested. I think that many other teens would enjoy it as well.

Cybele’s Secret by Juliet Marillier

I think that Cybele’s Secret by Judith Marillier, the sequel to Wildwood Dancing, should be nominated.  It has everything I look for in a book: action, mystery, history, romance,  the supernatural, social conflict, a wonderful villain, and some surprise twists.  This book doesn’t have any stereotyped characters- everyone has a past, dreams, and a plan about how to get there, and the characters play off one another in interesting ways.  I hope there’s a third book in the series!

Breaking Dawn & Geek Charming

syndetics-lcsyndetics-lc

I voted for two books: Breaking Dawn and Geek Charming. I voted for these two books because the both were romantic with a hint of comedy in them. The best part of Breaking Dawn was that there was a lot of action in it as well as romance. I really liked Geek Charming because I like a lot of the girlie novels and this one definitely fit this criteria. Another title I think should have been on the list is The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants because a lot of teenage girls have already read it and loved it. I would definitely recommend this book to all of my friends.

I voted for The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins because it has a little of everything in it: adventure, survival, and a little romance.  I couldn’t put this book down! The characters were really interesting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. Now I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Catching Fire.
